The Real Daytime talk show hosted by Garcelle Beauvais, Adrienne Houghton, Loni Love and Jeannie Mai Jenkins, has been officially scrapped after eight seasons.
According to information reaching bluebloodz.com the Fox Stations Group took the decision not to renew the Award Winning show for the 9th season.
The syndicated series made its debut in 2013 and has seen a rotating roster of hosts during its nearly decade-long tenure including Tamar Braxton and Amanda Seales.
One of the hosts Loni Love in a statement said – The Real cast & crew did everything they could to scale the show down,’ According to Long ‘ They shot 7-8 shows in 3 days, no audience, made a conference room into a studio, but blamed the wrap of the show on Covid19 costs.
She added: ‘It’s been a great ride and thanks to the viewers for 8 great seasons!’
Despite the untimely end of the Real show, host Garcelle is set to become a member of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Lonnie Love is expected to continue as a stand up comedian, and is optimistic to make a living beyond the show.
Although Adrienne and Jeannie don’t seem to have any other jobs at the moment , Jeannie is in talks to possibly Cast for the next season of the Real Housewives of Atlanta.
