Rapper Gunna Experiencing Serious Codeine withdrawal in Prison. [ photo]

Rapper Gunna is reportedly said to be experiencing serious codeine withdrawal while in prison.

Gunna who is currently in police custody after turning himself in to police on Wednesday morning, almost 2 days after he was first named in a 88-page racketeering charge involving fellow rapper Young Thug.

The DS4EVER rapper who turned himself in to police and is facing 150 years in prison is believed to have a drug problem, as he frequently raps about drug addiction. Most of his songs mentioned codeine, and in his hit song “Codeine,” he talked about being a heroin abuser.

Two close associates to Gunna have been talking about the rapper’s struggles on social media. One, who refers to himself as Gunna’s “childhood friend” said that the rapper is going through “withdrawal,” as the drug he is used to getting, he’s clearly not getting it behind bars, and the rapper is going through it.

Gunna is a rapper signed to Young Thug’s record label YSL Records, as well as 300 Entertainment and Atlantic Records. He released his debut studio album, Drip or Drown 2 in 2019 and followed it up with his 2nd studio album Wunna in 2020, which debuted atop the Billboard 200.

His 3rd album DS4Ever was released in 2022, becoming his second consecutive number one album
