Democracy Day Celebration Cancelled in Ondo State

Democracy Day Celebration has reportedly been Cancelled in Ondo State due to the Owo Catholic Church Massacre.

Incumbent Governor Rotimi Akeredolu on Saturday June 11 said the directive was given following the unexpected  terrorist attack on worshippers at the St. Francis Catholic Church, Owo, last Sunday. 

He also added that the cancelation is to enable the good people of Ondo State mourn their loved ones who lost their lives in the horrific attack.


Meanwhile, to mark the Democracy day celebration today, President Muhammadu Buhari will be addressing Nigerians in Live morning [7am] broadcast.
