The flight for evacuation of Nigerians from United Kingdom scheduled for August 8 is fully booked, the Nigeria High Commission in UK has stated.
The Commission, which disclosed this in a memo, also urged prospective evacuees yet to make payment not to bother to do so.
They however said efforts would be made to schedule another flight for those who might have missed out.
The Commission also cited that they had concluded arrangement with Air Peace for evacuation of some stranded Nigerians in the UK.
Announcing the closure of the Air Peace flight, the Nigeria High Commissioner in UK said: “Further to the stated notice of 25th July 2020, the High Commission wishes to inform that the evacuation flight scheduled for 8th August 2020 is now dully booked and all seats are no longer available.
“In this regards, all prospective evacuees who have not already made payment for the flught are strongly advised not to do so.
“The mission will endeavor to make necessary arrangement to schedule another flight, details of which will be communicated in due course.”
