Telecos {Telecommunication companies} have been instructed to stop outgoing calls on unlinked and Unregistered lines from April 4, 2022 by the federal government.

According to Ikechukwu Adinde, director, public affairs, NCC and Kayode Adegoke, head, corporate communications, NIMC, in a joint statement , the directive to bar all outgoing calls on sims not yet registered and linked with the National Identification Number (NIN) came after several extension of deadlines.
Earlier, bluebloodz.com reported that NIMC has begun a round the clock NIN-SIM linkage services as Deadline approaches.
