A Nigerian woman has labeled men who neglect to indulge their partners as warning signs, recounting her experiences with both her husband and former fiancé.
In a social media post, Joy Chinwenmeri revealed that she has only laundered her husband’s clothes twice throughout their union.
She explained that her husband is considerate and avoids causing her stress, opting to take their garments to the laundromat, allowing her more time to concentrate on her business ventures.
Joy highlighted how her husband contrasts sharply with her ex-fiancé, who would leave her to tackle heaps of laundry and comforters while he lounged in front of the television.
Additionally, she mentioned that her ex was a firm believer in traditional gender roles, often stating that his mother had eight children and did all the household chores, hence there was no justification for complaints.
