A patient endured ghastly injuries after inadvertently leaving a butt plug lodged in their rectum during a medical examination.
The object remained within the patient’s rear passage while undergoing a standard MRI scan, causing a perilous interaction between the intense magnets and the toy’s metallic components.
As revealed by a shocking scan image, the outcome was the item being forcibly pulled through the patient, with the potential to harm organs and tissue en route.
Pictures spreading across social media, accumulating millions of views, depict the item trapped inside the patient.
The image was posted by an X user who remarked: “Avoid wearing a butt plug to your MRI appointment. My goodness….”
The post explained that the immense magnetic forces employed to create an MRI’s intricate scans supposedly yanked the metal core of the silicone toy through the patient’s rectum and upward into their chest cavity at a rate comparable to the “speed of sound”. The patient reportedly acquired the s£x toy believing it was “100 percent silicone,” which she deemed safe for magnetic interaction.
However, the woman was unaware that the toy contained a metal “core” that reacted negatively to these magnetic forces.
Health officials provided insights regarding the viral image. In a report submitted shortly before the scan image began circulating online, officials detailed how a 22-year-old patient was left “screaming” following an MRI scan and was quickly rushed to the hospital.
The unnamed healthcare professional who documented the report indicated that the patient had not revealed she had the s£x toy inside her prior to the scan commencing.
They stated: “She entered for the MRI, and once the MRI concluded and the technician began retracting the table, the patient erupted in screams.
“The patient claimed she felt queasy, was in agony, and feared she might faint.
“An ambulance was summoned for this patient, and she was transported to the hospital.
“The patient was examined by the radiologist on site before being transferred to ensure she was stable.”
