Auchi Poly has evoked a prohibition on cars belonging to students from entering the school campus bluebloodz.com has learned.
The management of the Federal Polytechnic, Auchi, Edo State, institution disclosed this in a circular dated September 22, 2021 and dutifully signed by its Registrar, G.E. Ihiokhan. The circular cited that the decision of the ban follows “disturbing reports” received by the institution’s management on reckless driving and illegal parking of cars by students on designated official parking space for staffs, thus putting in harm’s way the lives and property of both staff and students on campus.
The Management has expressed great displeasure at the growing ugly trend, and has therefore, decided to proffer permanent solution to it forthwith,” the circular read.
Furthermore, the Management also gave a directive that all cars belonging to students should be prohibited from entering into the campus from now onwards until the institutions ongoing examinations comes to an end.
The only exception to the directive are staff and students whose cars or other means of mobility comes with proper identification, and also Individuals or group who are visiting for official or business purposes would be granted accesses after their vehicles have undergone thorough checks and identification.”
