Facebook has officially rebranded and changed its name to “Meta” bluebloodz.com has learned.
Mark Zuckerberg, founder and chief executive officer announced the name change in a statement issued yesterday Thursday, Oct 28.
According to Zuckerberg, the change of name is meant to reflect the company’s efforts on rebranding its future operations.

He said the mission of the company [ about bringing people together. ] remains the same, while stating that the apps and their brands aren’t changing either. We’re still the company that designs technology around people.

He also added that all of its existing products, including our apps, now shares a new vision in helping to bring the metaverse to existence.
With the emergence of the metaverse-first, not Facebook-first. There would be no need for Facebook accounts in other to access any of their services
