Meek Mill call it Quit with Roc Nation after zero music career growth in 10 years.

Meek Mill reportedly called it Quit with Jay Z’s Roc Nation management after experiencing zero growth in his music career in 10 years.

According to information from Hilliard magazine, the rapper and the Roc Nation Management parted ways on a mutual basis.

In 2012 Jay-Z signed the then-aspiring rapper to his Roc Nation management and offered Meek an opportunity to launch of his own record label imprint, Dream Chasers Records distributed by Atlantic Records. But Meek’s albums have all struggled to get market sales.

Later on, Meek Mill after his 5th studio album, Expensive Pain, was released on October 1, 2021 and talked about a brewing rift between himself, Jay Z and Atlantic Records

“They didn’t put nothing into expensive pain and then said I can’t drop another project for 9 months at the end of my contract after I made them 100’s of millions,” he complained in a tweet, “how can anybody survive that … most rappers can’t speak because they depend on these companies I don’t,” he wrote, before accusing Atlantic Records of ruining his relationship with fellow rapper Roddy Ricch.

Expensive Pain peaked at number three on the US Billboard 200 chart. It sold barely 95,000 downloads and 10,000 in pure albums sales.
