More Nigerians have been left stranded and jobless as UAE maintains stance on not granting and renewal of direct employment visas.
According to reports, many of the rejected Nigerians have since returned back to their root ( country ) with hopes of making a U-turn back to the United Arab Emirates as soon as the strict policy is reversed.
Meanwhile Dr Fahad AI Taffaq UAE Ambassador to Nigeria, has revealed that the UAE has no restriction against any nationality, while stating there is no official communication on the granting and renewal of work permits for Nigerians living and working in his country.
He made this known during a courtesy visit from the chairman in diaspora commission Mrs Abike Dabiri-Erewa, and concluded by saying the news is springing up from social media platform and holds no weight.
As at the time of this report, over 500 Nigerians have lost their jobs, and many others lamenting that the UAE is using the policy as a punishment to Nigerians.
