Retired Lt.Gen. Gary Volesky [60] has been suspended from the U.S Army and temporarily relieved of his mentorship duties bluebloodz.com has learned.
The retired Lt.Gen on Friday was suspended because he used a mocking tone to respond to a tweet by the Wife of the U.S president Dr. Jill Biden.
The June 24th tweet which was posted by Dr. Jill Biden portrayed her displeasure with the supreme Court’s Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization decision to inverlidate Roe v. Wade.
Biden wrote, “For nearly 50 years, women have had the right to make our own decisions about our bodies. Today, that right was stolen from us. And while we may be devastated by this injustice, we will not be silent. We will not sit back as the progress we have already won slips away.”
Retired Lt.Gen Volesky in his deleted reply, said, “Glad to see you finally know what a woman is,”
Volensky in time past has served in the Afghanistan Gulf, Iraq war and received a Silver star the 3rd Highest Military Combat honor for Conspicuous gallantry and intrepidity” while commanding a battalion in Iraq. He chaired the Army’s Public Affairs division from year 2012 to 2014 and retired from active service in 2020.
Recently after resignation, he signed the dotted lines to a $92-an-hour contract with the Army to work as a senior mentor advising on war strategy. But since Friday, he has been relieved from this role and is under investigation for his offensive tweet.
