IPOB – Indigenous People of Biafra has given another sit-at-home directive on Tuesday, January 18, 2022, in the South-East, ahead of a court judgement expected to be delivered on their dogged leader, Nnamdi Kanu.
IPOB spokesperson Emma Powerful said the order became necessary as Kanu is billed to appear in court on January 18, 19 and 20 for the continuation of his court case.
Emma Powerful repeated that the sit-at-home order is just for Tuesday January 18, and stated that anybody giving extra directive and Unauthorized order for sit-at-home on January 19 and 20 is not a member of IPOB and such persons are working against the entire struggle for independence, and should not be given the needed attention.
