Maersk popular Danish shipping company has announced its plans to temporarily halt all shipments to and from Russia following Ukraine invasion.
In an official press release, Maersk stated it was deep concern on how the war and conflict between Ukraine and Russia continues to develop.

According to their official statement
With their stability and safety of their operations already being directly and indirectly impacted by sanctions, their new bookings within ocean and inland, to and from Russia, will be temporarily suspended”
Exception to the temporary suspension includes the transport of food, medicine, and humanitarian aid. The world’s largest container shipping line operates shipping routes to St Petersburg, Kaliningrad, Novorossiysk, Vladivostok and Vostochny, and the temporary halt covers all the Russian ports listed above.
