Nnamdi Kanu set to Challenge 7 Terrorism Charges approved by Justice Binta Nyako.

Nnamdi Kanu IPOB Leader, is reportedly storming the Court of Appeal to challenge the amended 7 charges on terrorism approved by Justice Binta Nyako of the Federal High Court in Abuja.

In a copy of the court processes obtained by newsmen on Monday May 2, it was revealed that the IPOB leader is questioning the court’s final decision to retain counts 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 8 and 15.

In their application at the federal high court, Kanu’s lawyers which include Mike Ozekhome (SAN) and Ifeanyi Ejiofor had earlier affirmed that the charges against him are legally defective.

Ozekhome (SAN) who noted that his client was “feloniously, inhumanly and abnormally renditioned from Kenya without his prior knowledge”, also argued that the court lacked the legal authority to try him on the strength of an inexpert charge.

He also said that the charges against Nnamdi Kanu were ostensibly committed outside the country, and the court lacks the legal power to host the charge.
