Governor Soludo orders Teachers Recruitment Exam to be Re-Conducted

Governor Soludo has ordered the just concluded Teachers Recruitment Exam to be Re-Conducted in Anambra State to create reliability an stability of the Exercise.

Commissioner for Education, Prof. Ngozi Chuma Ude, in her official statement said ;

” Governor Soludo has graciously nullified the Saturday 4th of June preliminary Teacher’s Recruitment Examination. He granted a CBT based examination, all expenses covered by the Government. Please get ready.”

Furthermore, the ministry listed about 31,800 qualified applicants after reviews, and applicants considered too old for civil service, Graduates without NYSC discharged certificates or Exemption letter and other deficiencies were automatically disqualified.

Although other measures needed to attain reliability and credibility of the test were taken, the technical mix-up arising from the online examinations site, was not intended. Thus the Governor directed that all the over 31000 listed applicants should be given equal chance to participate in a preliminary online exam, before shortlisting the successful applicants for 2nd CBT exam.

Earlier, Anambra Teachers Recruitment exam which was conducted last Saturday June 4, 2022, experienced a lot technical difficulties and bottleneck rigidity and as a result, lot of applicants couldn’t access the recruitment examination portal.
