IGP – the Inspector General of Police, Usman Alkali Baba, has ordered an investigation into the courageous claims made by singer Portable that he formed the some terrible cult group, terrorizing some parts of Lagos State.
CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, police spokesperson in a statement released this yesterday evening says the IGP has ordered Lagos state Commissioner of Police, Biodun Alabi, to investigate the criminal and incriminating statement made by the singer and take necessary legal action.
The CSP added that the directive is was given to portray the continuous effort of the Nigeria Police Force to fish out supporters and financiers of cult groups in order to shut down their activities and restore sanity to our society.
Meanwhile, Show promoter, Sam Larry has distanced himself from singer Portable’s absurd claims of being aware he founded ‘One million boys and Ajah boys.’
Portable made the claim in a viral video that he has now deleted.
