Rapper Quando Rondo, 23, is currently Hospitalized for Acute Renal failure after abusive consumption of Lean. According to a post on his Instagram page he is in the hospital fighting for his life.
The update on Rondo’s IG page reads: “pray for me, in da hospital fightin for my life [sic].” The post ended with the hashtag #fuclean.
The aspiring rapper has a large following of over 3.7 million followers on Instagram. In 2020, he was in a different kind of fight with Chicago drill rapper King Von until king Von was fatally shot by Rondo’s brother Timothy Leeks, a.k.a. Lul Timm, outside a hookah lounge in Atlanta. Leeks is currently out on bond awaiting trial.
Folllowing the death of king Von, Rondo has been a wanted man as Rumor has it that there’s a million dollar bounty [price tag] on Lul Timm and Rondo’s heads
After the shooting, both Rondo and Leeks’ rap careers submerged and the pair travel with huge security entourage to protect them from aspiring rappers and shooters trying to make a name for themselves by ending his life.
Lean which is a concoction of prescription codeine and hard candy mixed in a soft drink, also led to the death of Rapper Lil Keed in May. He died from multiple organ failure at age 24.
