Megan speaks openly about her mother’s death, the treachery of her childhood companion Kelsey Harris—who sided with Lanez post-shooting—and her relentless pursuit of justice as Lanez, along with various bloggers and gossip sites, dragged her through the mud on social media, in music videos, and more.
At 29, Meg states in the documentary, “[Critics] have tarnished my name terribly. I believe it’s due to who I am, what I discuss, and my appearance.” She continues, “The feeling of betrayal, the ongoing torment online, everything that transpired after the shooting has certainly intensified the pain.”
Furthermore, she pointed out that LeBron James was among those who contributed to her suffering.
