Kanye West, a prominent American rapper, has urged President Donald Trump to issue a pardon for Sean Combs, better known as Puff Diddy or Diddy, who is currently incarcerated.
Bluebloodz blog in previous updates, reported that Diddy is facing more than 30 civil lawsuits alleging sexual assault and misconduct. He remains imprisoned in New York while awaiting a federal trial related to sex trafficking and racketeering charges.
On his X page this Thursday, Ye appealed to Trump to liberate the troubled hip-hop mogul.
“@realDonaldTrump, please release my brother Puff,” he posted.
Diddy was apprehended by Homeland Security in September of the previous year. He is under investigation for sex trafficking, conspiracy to commit racketeering, and the transportation of individuals for prostitution.
Diddy has refuted all allegations and entered a not guilty plea on September 17. His attempts to secure bail have been thwarted twice.
Recently, Diddy was admitted to a hospital in Brooklyn due to a knee injury. Following treatment, he was returned to his prison cell.
His trial is set to begin later this year.
