Ex – Customs Boss David Parradang Discovered Lifeless in Hotel Room.

The Police Command of the Federal Capital Territory has reported that David Parradang, a previous Comptroller General of the Nigerian Immigration Service, was discovered lifeless in a hotel room in Abuja, mere hours after checking in with a female companion.

In a statement issued by spokesperson Josephine Adeh on Tuesday, it was revealed that the retired CG registered at Joy House Hotel, Area 3 Junction, on March 3, 2025, around noon, arriving in a black Mercedes Benz.

She remarked, “In response to recent claims suggesting that the retired Comptroller General of the Nigerian Immigration Service, David Shikfu Parradang, was abducted and later murdered, we wish to set the record straight regarding the details of this event to provide the public with accurate information.

“On March 3, 2025, at approximately 12:00 pm, Mr. Parradang arrived at Joy House Hotel, Area 3 Junction, in a black Mercedes Benz. He paid N22,000 for a one-night stay at the hotel.

“Shortly after, he instructed the hotel room attendant to guide a female visitor who had come to see him to his room. This woman departed the hotel grounds around 4pm that same day.

“Mr. Parradang did not leave his room following the woman’s exit. Around 4am on March 4, 2025, a concerned friend who is a military officer went to the hotel to check on him. Upon arrival, the hotel receptionist and the officer proceeded to his room, where Mr. Parradang was found deceased, seated in a chair.

Adeh stated that the Durumi Police Station was instantly notified, and officers quickly arrived at the location to secure the vicinity, capture images, and gather evidence.

“The Durumi Police Station was informed and officers swiftly reached the scene, ensured the area was secure, captured photographs, and gathered all pertinent evidence to maintain the crime scene’s integrity.

“The corpse has been moved to the National Hospital for essential procedures, and hotel personnel are presently assisting with the Police inquiry,” she remarked.
