On Wednesday, Russia revealed that it has ceased its assaults on Ukrainian energy systems following a discussion between Presidents Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump.
The Kremlin also noted that it had intercepted its own drones heading towards Ukraine while they were airborne.
During their conversation on Tuesday, Putin consented to a temporary pause in assaults on Ukrainian energy installations but refused to endorse a full 30-day truce, as suggested by the US president.
