President Tinubu Talks About Prayer Ahead Of 73rd Birthday

As President Tinubu approaches his 73rd birthday this Saturday, he will gather with fellow Muslims at the National Mosque in Abuja on Friday for a dedicated prayer gathering for the nation.

The President is also anticipated to express his gratitude to God for guiding and supporting him in his role of leading the country.



Bayo Onanuga, the President’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, stated that Tinubu’s birthday aligns with the holy month of Ramadan and occurs two months prior to the second anniversary of his administration.

“On this momentous occasion, the President will devote time to spiritual contemplation and petitions for Nigeria’s sustained peace, advancement, and flourishing.

“Opting for a prayer gathering illustrates President Tinubu’s commitment to the spiritual and ethical welfare of Nigeria, as well as his dedication to seeking divine wisdom, perception, and strength in governance. He views collective prayer as a vital instrument for steering the nation toward progress and unity.

“President Tinubu encourages the public to participate in the prayer gathering in spirit by sending prayers from their places of worship or wherever they may be, reinforcing a national commitment to solidarity and a shared future.”

The President reaffirms his dedication to strengthening democratic achievements, encouraging economic restoration, and fostering national harmony. He urges citizens to stay steadfast in their belief in Nigeria’s destiny as a symbol of hope in Africa.
