Porsha Williams just can’t seem to find any peace in her romantic life. Barely weeks after her former husband was sent back to his homeland, Porsha’s current partner is now entangled in legal issues.
Simon Guobadia is back in Nigeria after spending several months in an immigration facility near Atlanta. The 61-year-old entrepreneur expressed his regret about marrying Porsha.
In a recent chat, Simon stated he “completely regrets” proposing to the reality TV personality after knowing her for only 30 days.
“Proposing after just 30 days … who does that? I was absolutely out of my mind when I did that. Naturally, I’m facing the consequences,” Simon remarked an interview with Page Six from his residence in Nigeria.
Reports indicate that Porsha’s new beau, Jonathan Dupiton, is encountering allegations for supposedly embezzling $10 million from the PPP initiative. Media Take Out has verified that Jonathan is under federal indictment, accused of a PPP and unemployment fraud scheme.
Porsha was apparently involved with Jonathan while still married to Simon.
Following Porsha’s divorce filing from Simon, she and Jonathan made their relationship known on Instagram. They were spotted enjoying dinner dates, donning coordinated outfits, and sharing pictures together on the platform.

Porsha, 44, and Jonathan, 36, weren’t exactly discreet. Sources informed that , the couple had been “definitely dating” for several months.
However, Jonathan now faces serious trouble with federal authorities. As per a federal indictment, he is charged with obtaining $10 million through fraudulent PPP loans and submitting false unemployment applications.
The alleged offenses began in 2020 and persisted until April 2021. He supposedly used the funds to purchase vehicles, real estate, luxurious clothing, and extravagant jewelry.
In 2017, an individual sharing Jonathan’s name confronted similar accusations for defrauding Georgia’s Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). He allegedly used stolen identities to misappropriate over $395,000 in SNAP benefits.
Jonathan received a sentence of three years and nine months in prison and was instructed to repay $395,388.01 in restitution.
