Moroccan-American artist French Montana is set to marry Princess Sheikha Mahra of Dubai, who boasts a fortune exceeding $18 billion.
His representative verified the engagement to TMZ on Wednesday.
French, aged 40, proposed to Sheikha Mahra, who is 31, during Paris Fashion Week in June, as per various reports.
The pair first crossed paths when she guided Montana through the United Arab Emirates city in October 2024.
They made their relationship public during Paris Fashion Week, where he participated in the 3.PARADIS Ready-to-Wear Spring/Summer 2026 runway presentation.
French Montana, whose birth name is Karim Kharbouch, was born and raised in Morocco, but moved to The Bronx, NY with his family when he turned 13.
Montana launched his journey as a battle rapper in NYC. He garnered fame after releasing his debut studio album, Excuse My French, which achieved a number 4 position on the Billboard 200 chart in 2013.
Princess Sheikha Mahra is the offspring of Dubai ruler Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and operates a brand of high-end hair care products.
Sheikha Mahra garnered attention last year when she publicly divorced her unfaithful husband via Instagram.
“Dear Husband, since you are preoccupied with other companions, I hereby announce our divorce. I divorce you, I divorce you, and I divorce you. Best wishes. Your ex-wife,” she proclaimed in an Instagram post. The mother of one has over 1.1 million followers on Instagram.
