Give Clear Order To Service Chiefs – Pastor Adeboye tells Tinubu

Pastor E.A. Adeboye, who leads the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), has called on the Nigerian government to take strong steps to remove terrorists and those who fund them before the United States decides to take military action.

He made these comments during the November Holy Ghost Service on Friday, reacting to recent statements from former US President Donald Trump about Nigeria’s security issues.

Adeboye told President Bola Tinubu to give the newly appointed military leaders a three-month deadline to get rid of terrorists and their supporters. He warned that if they fail, they should resign.

He said,

“This is not the time to blame others. Our President inherited this problem; it started before him.”

Pastor Adeboye also reminded people of his past advice to the late President Muhammadu Buhari. He had once privately urged quick action when attacks were increasing, but Buhari did not act.

He said,

“Some of you will remember who called the service chiefs together and said, ‘I give you three months, get rid of all these Boko Haram people or resign.’He followed that advice, but three months went by, and the work wasn’t done.”

Adeboye stressed that this time, the government must hold military leaders responsible for not only removing terrorists but also targeting those who support them, no matter how powerful they are.

He added,

“When giving orders to the service chiefs this time, we should make it clear that they are to eliminate the terrorists and their sponsors, no matter how influential they may be.”

Pastor Adeboye’s warning shows how urgent it is for Nigeria to take strong and complete action against terrorism, including those who fund it, before foreign countries get involved.
