Kanye West has a concert in São Paulo, Brazil, scheduled for November 29, and city officials are already preparing for the worst.
Due to his controversial antisemitic views, including the release of a song called “Heil Hitler” in May, Kanye has been placed under strict restrictions. Any mention of Nazis or other fascist regimes will result in consequences.
According to TMZ, São Paulo Mayor Ricardo Nunes stated that anyone who makes an apology for Nazism will be arrested at the show. He added:
“No one who promotes Nazism will play or sing any words on public equipment belonging to the City Hall.”He continued:”We will do everything necessary to ensure that no one who promotes Nazism has any kind of activity here in the city of São Paulo.
“Per The US Sun, police are prepared to storm the stage and arrest Kanye if he steps out of line. TMZ noted that the show’s promoters, Guilherme Cavalcante and Jean Fabrício Ramos, have also been warned they may face arrest if their client acts unpredictably. Oh, boy. If we were them, we’d be panicking! If there’s one thing Kanye is, it’s unpredictable… Even if he may be trying to move on from his dark past and make amends, you truly never know what he’ll do or say next.

A complaint has also been filed by Councilwoman Cris Monteiro with the São Paulo State Public Prosecutor’s Office regarding Kanye’s “Heil Hitler” track.
prosecutor Ana Beatriz Pereira de Souza Frontini issued a rule prohibiting swastika T-shirts and all other Nazi symbols at the event. Good for them for drawing a firm line. This kind of hatred should never be tolerated!
Although tickets are on sale, the outlet notes that the artist is still searching for a venue. With all the backlash already, who knows if the show will go on? If it does, Kanye better be ready to follow the rules!
