President Tinubu has said his government will not stop fighting terrorism and banditry in Northern Nigeria.He said the government will not stand by while any part of the country suffers.
Tinubu made this statement on Saturday during the 25th anniversary of the Arewa Consultative Forum, ACF, in Kaduna. He was represented at the event by the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Tajudeen Abbas.
Tinubu said he took over a very difficult security situation but is still determined to bring back safety. The Nigerian leader also said his government will work to stop the long-term economic problems in the area.He mentioned the expected start of oil production from the Kolmani fields and other new chances as ways to improve the economy.
He added, “I won’t let Northern Nigeria keep suffering. I will deal with the insecurity problem.”
