A Nigerian woman Victoria Kemi Adedoyin, 33, was found dead in her home in Canada, shocking her family, friends, and the wider community.
Victoria Kemi Adedoyin, 33, moved to Canada in July 2022. She was a successful executive working for a big company in Canada. According to reports, she went to church on Sunday, January 18, 2026, and went to work the next day, Monday, January 19. She returned home that same day. She was supposed to join an online meeting with senior company leaders that Monday. When she didn’t log in and couldn’t be reached by phone or messages, her coworkers got worried and called the police.
The police broke into her house and found her body. At first, the coroner thought a brain aneurysm might have caused her death, but that idea was later canceled because there wasn’t enough proof.
Her sudden passing has left many questions and a lot of sadness for those who knew her.On Facebook, the group Nigerians in Canada shared that Fadekemi reached an important goal in 2022 when she got her Canadian Permanent Residency and moved to Canada in July of that year.
“Like always, she was a lifelong learner and kept growing by taking professional courses and getting several certifications. She started a new job at Accenture, Canada, as a Senior Analyst. She first worked on the Pinterest project as a Client Account Manager, and after eight months, she was promoted to Senior Client Account Manager for the Direct (B2B) team.
“Her ability to adapt, strong will, and good leadership helped her move to the Agency Team in 2024 as a Senior Agency Account Manager. She quickly became Team Lead, a role she held with honor until she passed away,” the group admin added on Facebook.
