2027 Elections: Apostle Michael Orokpo Warns Nigerians Against Voting Incompetent Leaders

Apostle Michael Orokpo calls on Nigerians to vote out incompetent leaders in 2027, warns against tribal politics, and speaks on insecurity challenges.

The founder of Encounter Jesus Ministry International, Michael Orokpo, has called on Nigerians to make better electoral choices by rejecting ineffective leadership in the next general elections.

Speaking during a recent sermon, the cleric addressed the worsening insecurity across the country, highlighting the ongoing attacks by armed groups responsible for killings and abductions of innocent citizens.

Orokpo encouraged Nigerians to be proactive not only in their spiritual lives but also in matters of civic responsibility. He stressed the importance of self-protection while also urging citizens to use the ballot box as a tool for change in 2027.

According to him, the upcoming election presents a critical opportunity to elect leaders capable of tackling the nation’s long-standing security challenges. However, he expressed concern that many voters may still prioritize ethnic loyalty over competence when making their choices.

In his message, the preacher criticized the culture of vote-buying, warning that short-term financial incentives often come at the expense of long-term national progress. He lamented that many citizens continue to fall into the cycle of accepting small rewards during elections, only to endure years of poor governance afterward.

Orokpo also noted that guidance from spiritual leaders is frequently ignored during elections, as many voters ultimately rely on tribal sentiments rather than objective judgment.

He urged Nigerians to become more intentional and informed as the 2027 elections approach, emphasizing that meaningful change can only happen when citizens make conscious and responsible decisions at the polls.
