Following the drawn up charter by luxury conglomerate LVMH & Kering to ensure better treatment for models, fashion giants Gucci, Dior, Celine, & Louis Vuitton are among brands that have pledged to abandon size 0 models.
Henceforth, Female models will have to be a minimum French size 34 ( U.S size 2 ) While the male models a French size 44 ( extra small ).
LVMH & Kering also came to a conclusion that under age (16years) men & women will no longer be used to model adult clothes, and models will have to provide a Valid Medical Certificate to prove that they are fit to work.
