Actress Kemi Afolabi has reportedly began her treatment for her terminal illness, Lupus at the prestigious John Hopkins Hospital Maryland U.S
The actress who broke the internet in March when she cried out to Nigerians for help revealing her daily battle with Lupus which had cost her millions of Naira weekly since she commenced treatments on the 21st of January 2021.
In an exclusive interview with media personality, Chude Jideonwo, the actress revealed her Lupus diagnosis and added that she had 5 more years to live.
Following the heartbreaking news, Celebrities in the Nigeria movie Industry Nollywood came out in their numbers and with one voice to seek financial assistance for her.
Industry Colleagues – Mercy Aigbe, Toyin Abraham, Mide Martins and her hubby Afeez Owo, Tayo Odueke, Bisola Badmus, Yomi Fabiyi, Wumi Toriola amongst others requested for help on behalf of Kemi Afolabi.
Indeed their good deeds and show of kindness did not go in vain as the actress is now at the John Hopkins Hospital Maryland U.S seeking professional medical treatment.
