Adeyinka Bode Adeleke cries out over Increased rate of Cultism and Internet Fraud amongst Police officers.

Adeyinka Bode Adeleke, The Assistant Inspector-General of Police (AIG) in charge of Zone 2 (Lagos and Ogun State ), has complained of the increasing rate of cultism and internet fraud among officers of the law.

AIG, Adeleke made this known while addressing men of the Ogun State Police command Thursday, July 28, during his courtesy visit to the command at the State capital Abeokuta.,

Adeleke pointed out that policemen engaging in criminal activities are making fruitless the efforts of the police force to eradicate the country of crimes and thus giving the police force a bad name.

He shed some light on policemen who belongs to cult groups and would do everything within their authority to ensure members of their cult group are protected, even when they have truly committed an offense.

He warned such police officers to desist from acts that may trigger civil unrest like the one that happened during the End SARS protests. He then charged the Ogun State Commissioner of Police, Lanre Bankole, to fish out cops involved in cultism and cybercrime.
