Anambra International Cargo and Passenger Airport has officially began commercial flight operations, as they receive clearance from NCAA.
The Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority [ NCAA] gave the clearance on the 1st of December 2021, and yesterday 7th of December, first ever commercial flight [ Air Peace ] operations began at the airport and made its first landing at Umueri.
Before this magnanimous develop, indigens of Anambra State make use of International Airports at Enugu or Delta state, before continuing their journey by road.
Sons and daughters of the soil have since taken to social media to express their happiness and satisfaction at the emergence of their own International Airport in Umueri Anambra East LGA.
