Angela Yee is officially exiting The Breakfast Club after 12 years bluebloodz.com has learned.
On Wednesday 10 August during the morning broadcast, Angela made known her well calculated exit from the popular Power 105.1 show, as she revealed she will be hosting her very own nationally syndicated daily show on iHeart Radio. She still continues as Co-host of the Breakfast Club until her own show debuts sometime around ” fall”.
Angela Yee previously worked at Sirius where she had The Morning After with Angela Yee” before joining The Breakfast Club alongside Charlamagne Tha God and DJ Envy.
Yee who also runs her own podcast “Lip service ” indirectly referenced her departure on Tuesday night (August 9), via Twitter,
“The breakfast club as you know it is officially over” followed by a heart-shaped hands emoji.
Her simple tweet has since made The Breakfast Club a trending topic on Twitter, with fans sharing their favorite moments from throughout the show’s 12-year history.
