Benita Okwuibe a Nigerian woman was reportedly shot at her husband’s funeral by his relatives after being blamed for his death.
Benita Okwuibe who lost her husband Onyedika Jeremiah, 33, last year after battling a strange ailment has been married to the decease less than 1year before the strange sickness began.
At the funeral of the deceased Onyedika Jeremiah’s on Thursday, Jan. 13, in Anambra state, Benita the wife of the decease who hails Enugu State, was shot alongside her mother and brother-in-laws wife at the venue of the burial.
A friend who put up the post of the incident on Facebook said Benita’s mother and brother-in-laws wife died on the spot, while Benita is in critical condition at an undisclosed health facility. The friend also claimed Benita was shot because her late husband’s relatives totally blamed her for his demise.
Before the unexpected turn out of event, Benita’s Facebook posts show her mourning her late husband after his death last year December.
She also shared photos of his swollen feet, with gangrene appearance as seen in the picture above before his death while mourning him.
