Breakfast – Absolutely the first and compulsory meal of the day .

Breakfast are easy to prepare, not time consuming, they are filling, and will help to hold your appetite till it’s lunch time.

Breakfast come in different categories :-

Breakfast Sandwiches :- think of all your favorite english food piled up in little quantities to make a whole. The best breakfast everrrrr. Examples are – Avocado toast, bagel and cream cheese, Toad in a Whole ( bread with fried egg inside ).

Grab – and – go Breakfast :- these are the quickest form of breakfast, and contains just 2 ingredients. They can be eaten during car rides to school and can be used in place of snacks. Examples :- Hard boiled eggs, Smoothie’s, Parfait.

Sweetened Breakfast:- these are often referred to as weekend meals, and you can eat them in large quantities with all it’s sugary goodness. Examples are – Waffles, Banana pancakes, French toast, peaches and cream.

Bread Recipes :- These are breakfasts you prepare ahead of consumption time. The key ingredient here is bread – The taste and smell of freshly baked bread . Examples :- pumpkin bread,Cinnamon rolls, Bran muffins.

Egg Recipes :- Eggs are very proteinous and filled with nutrients. Eggs can be combined with other ingredients for breakfast. They can help retain energy to a large extent throughout the day. Examples – Scrabble eggs, Omelettes etc.

Avocado Toast – Healthy, simple and takes 5mins maximum to prepare. After preparation, you can choose to decorate or spice up your meal with – jalapeno, bacon , spinach, salmon etc.

Ingredients For Avocado Toast

  • 1 avocado pear (peeled & seed removed)
  • Bread ( any choice of yours)
  • 2 eggs
  • Red pepper flakes (1/2tsp)
  • 2 teaspoon of cilantro (chopped)
  • Lime ( juice from 1/2 slice )
  • Salt & pepper.

Preparation

Toast – toast the bread in a toaster until appearance becomes golden & crispy.

Mash – in a small bowl, mash the avocado, cilantro, pour the lime juice, add salt and pepper to taste..

Spread – Spread half of the mashed mixture on each slice or side of the the toasted bread, and sprinkle pepper flakes on it.

Toppings – jalapeno, bacon , spinach, salmon, eggs can be used as topping.

Peaches and Cream – Healthy and sweetened. Takes 3hrs 20mins to prepare. The Ingredients and method of preparation below yields 4 servings.

Ingredients For Peaches & Cream

  • Fresh Peaches (4)
  • 1/4 cup of water
  • 1 1/2 Cups of heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoon lemon juice

Preparation

Cutting – cut each peach in half along the crease, twist open and extract the pit. Peel , then slice in half to get roughly two cups of sliced Peaches.

Boiling – boil water and sugar in a pan over medium high heat . boil till a syrup is formed. Then stir in peaches until it’s coated. Then allow the syrup to simmer for 1minute, remove from heat and empty mixture into a bowl.

Creaming – Take the heavy Cream and 1/4 cup of sugar and simmer for 3 minutes until it becomes thickened a little bit. Remove from heat and add 2 teaspoon of lemon juice , allow to cool .

Transferring – after cooking the cream as described above , transfer the peaches into glasses using a spoon with narrow opening, and pour the warm cream on top.

Refrigerating – After transferring, cover the glasses with plastic wrap , refrigerate and allow to chill.

Serving – you can choose to serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and a sprinkling of cinnamon sugar or a garnished small mint leaf.

Leftovers – Afterwards, pour the leftover peach syrup into a pan , cook for 3-5 minutes until it reduces by half . Allow to cool before serving.
