Chantel Everett, main star of the popular Family Channel show “The Family Chantal ” and Canadian born rapper drake have reportedly being in contact in the DMs and getting familiar with each other.
According to a source close to the Hip-Hop star, he has been sending direct messages to Chantel on social media he learned that she and her husband Pedro Jimeno are soon to be divorced.
Both Chantel and Pedro ” The Family Chantel stars ” had a not so smooth relationship which resulted to Pedro filing for divorce in May 2022.
The news of their divorce was confirmed after fans watched their relationship play out during season 4 of their spinoff series, which premiered in early June. Throughout the season, Pedro constantly accused Chantel of being “lazy,” while Chantel had concerns over her husband’s extra- marital affair with a co-worker, which made her accuse him of infidelity.
Eventually, he filed to divorce Chantel, after he claimed that she embezzled $250,000 from him. Chantal disputes the allegations against her
Bluebloodz.com has learned that Drake has been in Chantel’s DMs since the month of March.
“Drake reached out to see how she was doing and where her head was at, and she responded.”
“They’ve been DMing each other back and forth, and are planning to meet up soon,” the friend added.
The insider believes it is only a matter of time before both parties become romantically involved , as rapper drake has a way of wearing women down. They might not at first expect any romance with him, but with time – it always ends up that way.”
Court documents obtained shows Pedro filed for divorce on 27 May after 6 solid years of marriage . Mutual restraining orders were also issued at the time.
The estranged couple are “not allowed to do , or attempt to do, or threaten to do, any act that injures, maltreats, vilifies, intimidates, molests or harasses the adverse party.”
