China has reportedly rejected calls for an independent international investigation into the origin of the coronavirus.
A top diplomat in the UK, Chen Wen told the BBC the demands were politically motivated and would divert China’s attention from fighting the pandemic.
Information about the origin of Covid-19 and how it initially spread could help countries tackle the disease. The virus allegedly emerged at a wildlife market in the city of Wuhan in November 2019 .

China is said to have earlier shut down two of their own universities from undertaking the research into the virus, and then went on to deny it originated from Wuhan to “dealing” with the whistle blower, to lowering casualty numbers to the conspiracy theory that the US brought it to this. If there’s nothing to hide let them be investigated. Now they are shutting off independent investigations.
