Coalition of Northern Groups Frown at UN Unconditional Call for the release of detained IPOB Leader

The Coalition of 52 Northern Groups (CNG), has frowned at the United Nations (UN) unconditional call for the release of the detained leader of IPOB, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is totally unacceptable to them.

The groups made their grievances known on Friday about United Nations (UN) call for Kanu’s release while briefing journalists in FCT Abuja

Their spokesman, Abdul-Azeez Suleiman, accused the UN of being bias in its temprament towards certain regions of the country. He called on the UN to immediately withdraw the demands made for the unconditional release of Kanu from the legal custody of the Nigerian authorities.
