The National Agency for Food, Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) has issued a warning regarding the sale and distribution of fake Cialis 20mg tablets in Nigeria.
The agency indicated that the counterfeit version of the medication was found during routine market inspections conducted by the MAH’s field sales personnel in Abuja.Reports indicate that the phony Cialis 20mg tablets are being sold openly in the marketplace at an average cost of N8,000 per pack, in stark contrast to the authentic product, which is sold for approximately N55,000 per pack.

Further analysis of the counterfeit product revealed that it does not align with the genuine Cialis 20mg packaging and quality standards.Authentic Cialis 20mg Tablet contains tadalafil, utilized to address erectile dysfunction (ED) in men and pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH), the agency stated.
NAFDAC urged healthcare professionals and consumers to report any suspicion of the sale of inferior and falsified medicines or medical devices to the nearest NAFDAC office, call 0800-162-3322, or email sf.alert@nafdac.gov.ng.
