The government of Ghana has released numbers that can be called by needy households or communities for free food – Ghana’s Minister of Gender, Children and Social Protection Mrs Cynthia Mamle Morrison confirmed the numbers in a public statement as 0800800800 and 0800900900 .
According to the minister, 400,000 to 450,000 packs of food would be delivered every day to needy people including persons with disability in lockdown areas, either raw or cooked, depending on their preference.
This move is in line with the relief measures outlined by Ghana’s president, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, on April 5, to help Ghanaians cope better with the COVID-19 outbreak in the country.
Good job !!!
