The Ghananian Information Minister, Kojo Oppong-Nkrumah has announced that President Nana Akufo-Addo has extended Ghana’s border closure by another two weeks effective Today Sunday, April 5, 2020.
Announcing the date on Twitter, the Minister of Information recalled that on March 21, 2020, President Akufo-Addo announced the total closure of Ghana’s borders as a result of the coronavirus pandemic. “This closure will not apply to goods, supplies, and cargo,” he said in the address .
Ghana now has a record of 205 COVID-19 cases as of Friday, April 03, 2020, with five deaths.
