According to Nigerian Afrobeats musician Fireboy DML, whose real name is Adedamola Adefolahan, dating in Lagos is chaotic.
In a recent episode of the Reprezent podcast, he made this statement. The artist claims that his popular song “Ashawo” was inspired by the chaotic Lagos dating scene.
I was attempting to depict the dating atmosphere in Lagos, where I reside, in my song “Ashawo.” It is in disarray,” he clarified. Fireboy described his romantic experience as “chaotic.”
However, I do best with girls. Girls are typically where I find equilibrium when I am under strain. Fireboy has previously stated that he hoped to experience heartbreak in order to gain motivation for creating more authentic music.
The vocalist has not openly acknowledged having a girlfriend or being in a romantic relationship.
