David Gbodi Odaibo according to his brother Stephen was said to have died in his sleep, barely 7 days after winning a $125 million (approximately N69billion) U.S government security contract.

Before his death, David was said to have written an algorithm for automatically detecting threats at airports. The algorithm won him a contract of $125 Million from the Department of Homeland security, thus defeating other financially able companies.
David who had a PhD in Computer Engineering suffered from cardiac arrhythmia/heart attack in his sleep. He is survived by his poor parents, his wife and two young children, and 4 siblings.
