Davido and Cousin Clarks Adeleke seem to have buried the hatchet as the singer showed him love on Instagram.
Flash back to January 19th, Davido had slammed his cousin for contesting in the 2023 Osun State Governorship Election – the same Governorship seat that their uncle, Senator Ademola Adeleke was interested in.
Dele Adeleke showed interest to contest against his senior relative, Senator Ademola Adeleke who had always expressed his intentions to run for the governorship election.
Davido who was fully throwing his support on Senator Ademola saw his cousin’s run as a big blow to the family. In a series of tweets, the singer knocked him, most especially for writing about his late mother.
According to Davido, his cousin had paid writers to write about him, but ignored it all until his attention was drawn to the inclusion of his mother in their write-up pricked his interest and this made him call out his cousin Clarke Adeleke for including his late mother in an article because of his political ambition.
The singer further noted his mother was the one who brought up his cousin and catered for his needs for . He stated that his cousin’s audacity had annoyed him and he was ready to unleash his craziness. Despite it all, it seems the cousins have reconciled as Davido took to his Instagram story to shower him with love after he [ clarke] was honoured to be the youngest delegate at the PDP convention which is a great achievement him.
