Defence HQ warns Nigerians Against Violence During Forthcoming Protest.

The Defence HQ has said it wouldn’t overlook rebellion of any form during the planned protest slated for 1st August 2024.

Buba said despite the fact that residents reserve the privilege to quiet fights as cherished in the constitution, they don’t reserve the “options to prepare for rebellion and release fear”.

The Defence representative said the military has “distinguished” plans by some “deceitful components” to commandeer the dissent and execute

“I will say that the contemporary setting of this arranged dissent is to shadow what’s going on in Kenya and I will add that what’s going on in Kenya as far as dissent, one, it is viciousness, two, it stays unsettled presently.

As of now, we have identified a few corrupt components set on commandeering the arranged dissent determined to make it fierce. Many are hence continuing in obliviousness.”

Buba added that the degree of viciousness “being imagined” during the arranged dissent must be portrayed as a “condition of disorder”.

The military, on its part, wouldn’t hold on and permit insurgency to happen to our country. This is on the grounds that we have seen and seen political agitation in nations we have worked,” he said
