Kelsie Frost, the daughter of Kirk Frost, has refuted allegations that she orchestrated the setup of her boyfriend, local rapper T-Hood, who was tragically shot and killed in his residence on August 8.
Reports from the Gwinnett County police indicate that T-Hood, whose real name is Tevin Hood, was fatally shot inside his home located in unincorporated Snellville, Georgia.
Authorities responded to a call at a residence on Lee Road where they discovered Hood suffering from gunshot wounds. He was immediately transported to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead at the age of 33.
Yulanda, T-Hood’s mother, has also denied claims that her son was hosting a party at his home during the time of the shooting.
Jayda, T-Hood’s sister, has suggested that Kelsie was involved in his murder. In response, Kelsie took to her Instagram Story to emotionally deny the accusation.
“Firstly, I’ve been advised by numerous parties not to speak out. However, I cannot allow this narrative to continue unchecked. The love of my life is gone. The man I used to cuddle with every night…is no more. While I would like to request respect and privacy, I feel compelled to defend my partner. I absolutely do not support this nonsense in any form. I am nauseated. I would not wish this upon anyone. My mind is in turmoil; this is a total nightmare, but I need to express myself. I don’t even have the opportunity to mourn or pay my respects properly because I am on the defense against harmful and bizarre rumors. I might not be eloquent enough, but I wish to provide insight to those who loved him, to foster understanding… I lack the right words, yet I want to keep writing while showing respect to his family and friends.”
The aspiring 30-year-old artist went on to say:
“So please refrain from listening to people who were not present; perpetuating these rumors and conspiracy theories will lead nowhere except to a false narrative. I despise having to post this, but I refuse to be bullied and have the blame shifted onto me, making it seem as if we weren’t united! I have never imagined anything like this. I love my man with every fiber of my being! Sending me threats, I am grieving too! I am hurting too! I did not harm anyone nor did I ask anyone to harm him!!!”
Kelsie stated that T-Hood had previously survived being shot three times and was still recovering when his life was taken. She rejected claims that she called her brothers, Ky Frost and Kirk Frost, to confront T-Hood after a disagreement at his home.
Kelsie added:
“I did not call anyone to come to my aid! I did not seek this situation. I would NEVER! My baby was still RECOVERING from being shot three times!!!! We kept our affairs private. I am enraged as well. I did not reach out to my family for assistance!!! For one, I’m the only girl, and I know we would have reunited the same night, (if anything) I don’t involve my family in our matters. I did not call a brother; I called no one but HIS mother. THAT’S MY BABY!!!!!!! Regardless of who is involved, I DO NOT CONDONE THIS!!! I am not okay! [sic]
She concluded:
“SO NO, I’m not going to sit here and allow you all to fabricate this sick narrative about me; I would NEVER wish him harm or call anyone to inflict harm upon him under any circumstances. We always navigated through everything together and now I am left to face this alone. I will continue to speak my truth for my baby. He was meant to be here and should still be alive!!! I love you, baby; please come visit me and take me with you. I can’t engage in arguments with all of you, nor do I want to. You’ll hear what you want, but I never wanted this, asked for it, called for it, set up anything, or sought for anything—I WOULD NEVER!!!!!!! Stop tarnishing my name; the real ones know he would not approve!!!!!!”
