Earlier this month, Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs was sentenced to 50 months of incarceration and five years of supervised release.and the parameters of his supervised release have now cometo light.
Court filings indicate that the shamed music magnate will be obliged to attend regular sessions with his probation officer. He is also expected to abstain from drug use and will be subjected to testing within 15 days after his release, followed by two subsequent tests.
Diddy is required to participate in an outpatient program that involves screening, an outpatient mental health treatment program, and an authorized domestic violence intervention program.
Diddy was convicted on two counts of transporting persons to engage in prostitution, but the law prohibits transporting someone across state lines for ‘immoral purposes.’ He was acquitted of more severe charges, including two counts of sex trafficking and one of racketeering conspiracy.
Upon release from prison, the rapper will experience limitedfreedom, as his probation officer has the right to appear at any time without prior notice, and Diddy must reside in a location sanctioned by probation officials.
He must also consent to searches of his person, residence, vehicle, and personal belongings, including his electronic gadgets, if there’s reasonable suspicion that he has violated his release conditions.
The founder of Bad Boy Records is prohibited from possessing or accessing any firearms, ammunition, explosives, or other hazardous weapons. Additionally, he will need to uphold steady employment for at least 30 hours a week and is forbidden from contacting individuals involved in criminal activities.
