A disclaimer has been issued following the rape allegation levelled on one Mr bode Steve Ekundayo of the English and Literature department of the University of Benin.

REPORTS REACHING US AGAIN IS THAT DR BODE DID NOT RAPE THE VICTIM. THIS INCIDENT SHE CLAIMED HAPPENED AT ABOUT 1PM IN FACULTY A CROWDED PLACE AND SHE COULDN’T SCREAM FOR HELP? SHE IS A 400LEVEL STUDENT WHO WENT FOR PROJECT MATTER, ENGLISH DEPARTMENT ARE YET TO START PROJECT. SHE SAID SHE DOESN’T KNOW THE LECTURER’S NAME, EVEN IN 400LEVEL DR BODE IS A POPULAR PERSON.
THE PICTURE OF DR BODE IN HEALTH CENTRE WAS IN RESPONSE TO HIM BEING INVITED TO HEALTH CENTRE BY SECURITY DEPARTMENT AND LIKE A NORMAL PERSON HE IS JUST WORRIED .THE LADY STORIES IS NOT ADDING UP BUT INVESTIGATIONS ARE STILL GOING ON. DR BODE WAS NEVER CAUGHT IN ACT OF RAPE AND NEVER DOES HE HAVE ANY OF SUCH CASE PRIOR TO THIS TIME .THE UNIVERSITY IS INVESTIGATING THE MATTER PRAY FOR BODE, UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY LETS STOP THIS PROPAGANDA
Matters still unfolding as the university is yet to respond, and the victim’s test result yet to be released. In the face of the law, the accused Mr bode Ekundayo remains innocent until proven otherwise.
